Typical worth the price. I broke the motor in the old fashion way. I ran it for an hour mixing low med and high idle. Changed the oil and gear lube ( they were nasty). Took it out to the lake and did the same thing with it for a day and night fishing trip. The performance was solid. The only issue I ran into… I shut off the engine to fish one spot and the safety shut off switch quit working. So I had to cut the wires while out on the lake once I cut the wires, it started up easily. So I will be replacing that switch with one of my own. ( to shut the engine off, I simply grounded the wires back together) that shorts out the voltage to the spark plug. The motor is a little loud. But most of the time it was at idle or low idle which was a bearable putt putt

Starts easy. Runs well. Does the job. The vent screw on the gas cap will screw itself closed as you are running across the lake and it will shut down and not start until you open the vent. I stopped that with a small hobby clamp on the vent screw so it can’t screw itself shut. Do the break-in as described in the instructions, learn which way is open on the gas valve and you will like this motor too.
