These foils will compensate for a boatie who doesn’t understand his boat and lacks seamanship at the relatively small downside of loading extra stress on the mountings. There is a lot of people who gain benefit from using these foils. They help with porpoising and cavitation issues but so does loading correctly and correct powering of the vessel.

I put a 5 star review on my Yamaha 150hp which pushes my Formosa 525. Super easy to install, just 4 holes , bolt it on and away you go. It has made my boat super responsive to trim adjustments and removed 95% of the cavitation. Works great. looking to order more motors from this site.
